I can help you deal with the legal process of administering the estate of someone who has passed away, which must be done in strict accordance with the law.
The Executors (or administrators if there is no Will) are often likely to need a Grant of Representation before they are able to collect in the assets and use them to pay any liabilities, and of course any Inheritance Tax must be settled. This can be a very complicated process, which varies depending upon whether or not there is a Will, and what assets are involved.
If there is a Will this process will be known as 'Probate', but the process for dealing with an estate where there is no Will ('Intestacy') is very similar.
I can assist with as much or as little of this as you like, from simply arranging a one-off meeting to explain what is required, through obtaining the Grant on your behalf, and ultimately dealing with the entire administration.
