About Me

I'm Emma Trick, and I'm a Solicitor with almost 25 years' post-qualified experience, based in South Norfolk.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2001, and have specialised exclusively in 'private client' work (such as Wills, Probate, and Powers of Attorney) ever since.   I became a partner in the Diss office of a regional firm in 2019.  

I am a full member of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and adhere to the STEP Will Writing Code, which sets out the standards of transparency, integrity and competence that you can expect from me.  I am also a full Accredited Member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers and follow their Code of Practice which sets out how clients, especially those who are vulnerable or elderly, must be treated.  These extra qualifications mean that I have undertaken specialist training, follow strict guidelines, and keep my knowledge up to date, so that you can trust me to provide you with the advice that you need.  

I recently made the decision to leave my employed partner role, and to work as a consultant solicitor via Nexa Law, so that I can provide my clients with a flexible and personal service that is very difficult to achieve at a traditional firm.

Outside of work, I am married with two children and can often be seen supporting them from the boundary of a cricket pitch or the side of a music stage!  I am also the treasurer for our local scout group.
